Scout Report

This is the kind of game where we either put on a show or make hard work of what should be straightforward.

Their form: Already relegated and playing like it. One win in their last 27 league games tells you everything. They’ve shipped three or more goals in each of their last four away trips and have managed just two away wins all season. Proper dire stuff.

Watch out for: Don’t let the form fool you completely. Their wingers Anthony and Tchaouna have pace to hurt us on the break, and they’re clinical when chances come - fourth-best conversion rate in the league somehow. Set pieces will be their main route to goal given our ongoing issues defending them.

How we win: We’re unbeaten in 44 home games against promoted sides since 2010. Perfect record against already-relegated teams too. Havertz loves playing Burnley, Trossard’s been involved in goals in his last three against them. Just play with freedom and put them away early.

Team news: White’s season is done with his knee injury. Timber still out, Calafiori back in training. Merino remains long-term.

My View

Two wins away from being legends, three wins away from being immortals. City win again to apply pressure on Arsenal, but to be honest, as long as we win our games, we will win the league. People think this game is going to be easy. You've got a side in Burnley who have zero pressure, and I try to compare it to that City game against QPR when they won in the last second. I'm hoping it won't be as dramatic, but equally, I hope the players do not take this game lightly.
Furthermore, I never want to see Rice at right back again. I think Arteta should go back to a similar line-up to what we had before, minus Ben White, of course. The West Ham game, although high pressure, I think it was a good test of character and almost killed me.
We are so close, but it's not over yet.
My predicted score is Arsenal 3 - 0 Burnley, with most of the goals coming late.
