My View

Win over Dinamo was exactly what we needed; Controlled, comfortable, and a chance to rest key players. Declan Rice’s early strike set the tone, Martinelli was good down the left, and Havertz chipped in with a goal and assist to keep his form going. Defensively, we were solid with another clean sheet at home in Europe. But while the team looked strong, our approach to transfers needs work. We’ve been linked to Benjamin Šeško for what feels like forever, yet nothing materialises, and by the time we move, desperation sets in, and prices soar. Arsenal have to improve at identifying their top targets and acting decisively—this constant dithering will only hold us back as we look to compete at the highest level.

3 Things We Learned From The Game

  1. Squad depth still needs work – Arteta rotated, and while we got the win comfortably, some of the backup players showed inconsistency. Kiwior and Jorginho did fine, but there’s a clear gap between them and the starters.
  2. Nwaneri proves ready for bigger role - Showed Saka-like qualities in impressive 32-minute cameo
  3. Declan Rice’s Influence is Growing – His early goal was a beauty, and his overall performance was top-notch. He’s proving why he’s so important to this team
